Following the verdict in the Old Bailey today (14 May) in the Bullfinch child sexual exploitation trial, Oxfordshire County Council issued the following statement:
Oxfordshire County Council would like to pay tribute to the courage of the victims whose evidence in court secured the convictions of these violent criminals. Like everyone who followed the trial, we were horrified at the evidence heard in court. Oxfordshire County Council would like to apologise publicly to the victims for not stopping this abuse sooner.
