Oxford Castle hosted a food and wine festival over the weekend, lots of independant traders from the hospitality sector gathered to show off their wares. We have to admit the we did partake in a few nibbles along with Raymond Blanc who was there to open the festival.
We asked APR in Witney if we could use their Rayburn showroom to do some cooking items, they not only said yes, but also provided us with Simon Brown from QVC to show us how it's done! You may feel hungry watching this one!
Pritesh and Mini Patel own the 'Box of Delights' on Shipton Road in Woodstock, they pride themselves on selling as much local produce they can. We paid them a visit one evening as they had many of their local suppliers on hand, allowing their customers to ask questions and find out more about the products available in the shop. Like us, they're keeping it local!
